About Us

I am Karol V. Brown-Jones, founder of Grandmothers United by Love and Harriet Tubman 3LC (Love, Leadership & Legacy Coach). My life’s work has always centered on teaching women and girls to embrace their power, honor their voice, and live from a place of love.

I am a storyteller, author, and educator with over 40 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and health educator. I bring Harriet Tubman’s spirit of courage and leadership into everything I do, whether through my books, workshops, or my portrayal of Harriet herself.

I know what it means to walk through loss, hardship, and healing—and I also know the strength of love, faith, and community. At 72, I embrace my role as a grandmother, a teacher, and a guide for women and girls who are ready to live boldly, love deeply, and leave a legacy.

Grandmothers United by Love is my offering to the world—a space where women can rise together, share their wisdom, and lead with love.
